Bye Dynastream!

Today is my last day of work! Exciting but also sad :( I'm going to miss everyone! And playing lunchtime hockey/soccer/basketball.

But, one step closer to the adventure! :)

Woot! House: Rented! Dog: Approved!

So some good friends of ours decided to rent the house from us while we're away, vastly simplifying things! Sad that our neighbour's decided to list their house for so cheap, but I think this actually works better. Off the market! Sorry if you were about to make an offer, lol. ;)

In other news, Dexter got his import certification! Weee!!

And he's booked on our flight. October 21 can't come soon enough! Though this weather is a nice unexected surprise... Go Calgary. :)

Today's Jacqui's last day of work... And I've actually been doing some work on http://ohsnap365.com/ ... Watch for big changes coming!

House, sigh... Work, wee!

Still no takers on the house... But we might be renting to some good friends instead, a win-win for everyone? Definitely better for us financially, just a bit more stressful. Just over a month until we leave now, time has flown! And we've been horrible at updating the blog. :)

Today's my last day at work! Not sure how I'm going to fill the next few weeks. Got some banking to do, and then maybe I'll dive into the housing and car market of New Zealand, so that we don't get ripped off when we get there.

Currently we have one night of a hotel booked in Hamilton (thanks to the World Cup of Rugby this was the only place cheap enough) and a week of a rental car... Hopefully we can find a campervan to buy in that time... Then 10 days to find a house while Dexter's in quarantine. I suppose it's not the end of the world if we don't find a place before he's out, but it would be ideal! Gotta figure out exactly where we want to live... Found a good looking place in the far north for reasonable rent, was furnished and open to pets... Just don't know if we want to live that far north. Good surfing nearby though for sure! :)

Exciting!
