Our awesome friends Ryu, Beka, Travis and Alicia arrived today! Best valentine's day present ever :)They are in New Zealand for a couple weeks and we have lots of action packed adventure days planned with them.
They brought some special treats from Canada for us:

One of the perks to our friends being here is that they cook us delicious food! Alicia made some fantastic potato and leek soup, and we grilled up some fish and had a nice salad too. We made good use of the garden today (and grocery store)!
