En route to Dunedin we stopped at the remarkable Moeraki Boulders. These spherical boulders are scattered along the beach, and are formed by some sort of earth magic I don't understand :)
Moeraki Boulders |
This one is broken |
Lone boulders |
They are big! |
And fun to stand on! |
Scott only has his super zoom lense, haha. |
There were lots of families around and others like this taking group shots. |
One of Scott's close-up-lense pictures. Pretty! |
Most of the coast looks like this, beautiful |
Any penguins down there? No :( |
Cool rock wall |
Looking back from where we came |
Sheep! |
Seal! |
Baby Seal! |
Cormorant! ("Shag", locally, heh). Spotted Shag to be specific. |
Nice little harbour in Moeraki |
