Beetles in Cairns

One thing we forgot to mention about Cairns is that somehow we were lucky enough to arrive during Beetle season (yeah, Australia has some crazy animal seasons, doesn't it?).

zomg, seriously?! No hot tub tonight, I guess! Daytime had much more reasonably sized clumps of beetles, but still far too many for my liking!
